The 1st Technology & Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition in Kashmir

The Information and Communications Technology Association (ICTA) of J&K and Mercy Corps are pleased to announce BIZCOMP 2009, the first Technology and Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition in Kashmir. This Business Plan Competition aims to provide an integrative learning experience for participants and to encourage aspiring young technology entrepreneurs to take their ideas forward in the Kashmir Valley.

All aspiring young technology entrepreneurs, between the ages of 20-35, are invited to come forward and submit their business plans with their ideas for setting up a new IT business in the Kashmir Valley in any of the following:

• Web-oriented Products & Services
• Mobile Phone Applications
• Software Products
• Any other IT-related services and products.

The entrepreneur(s) with the winning business plan shall receive:

• A Grand Prize of Rupees 100,000 towards the development and launch of their new venture
• 6 month’s of business mentoring and strategic support SERVICES.

Whether you win or lose, your experience will be an exciting, challenging, and rewarding one. We look forward to reading your business plans and hope that this contest will play a part in the success of any entrepreneurial venture you may be involved with during your career!
